I've known John Clark for 23 years and have watched him achieve excellent results as the
leader of two not-for-profits in Charlotte: Public Radio WDAV and Chamber Music at St. Peter's. As
a board member I worked with John during his entire 5-year tenure at Chamber Music at St. Peter's and had first-hand
knowledge of his ability to provide strategic direction and strong fund-raising ability, as well as to demonstrate
exceptional fiscal discipline. He will be an invaluable advisor to his clients because he has walked in their
shoes. - Ann Depta, President, Meridian Consulting Group, Charlotte, North Carolina. I worked with John Clark when I served as vice president for advancement at Davidson College; he reported
to me. John oversaw WDAV the classical public radio station that serves the Charlotte metropolitan area. This was a period
of growth for the station. John was and is a visionary leader with fine management skills, a keen understanding of people,
and a knack for making the right things happen! I very much enjoyed working with him.
- John Griffith, President, Presbyterian College. During the early part of
John's tenure as General Manager with WDAV-FM at Davidson College, I worked closely with him as the first Chair of the Community
Advisory Board. I was impressed with his breadth of knowledge, creativity, and his ability to work effectively with a diverse
group of volunteers and constituencies. His overall knowledge of the arts scene and nonprofit organizations is very impressive.
- Kenneth Johnson, Executive Director, The Greenville Symphony John Clark
knows a great deal about strategic planning and working with people. My conversations with John on these matters have
always benefited me. - Norris Frederick, Ph.D., previously Vice President of Academic Affairs, Queens University of Charlotte,
Charlotte, NC
